Ford knows you need your F-150 to keep doing its job all year long. That’s why the automaker is adding three new available tech features this summer to help your truck work smarter. These technologies are available to order now on the all-new 2021 Ford F-150, so feel free to contact our team at La Grange Ford for more details.
The 2021 Ford F-150 is capable of best-in-class towing and payload. But knowing exactly how much weight your F-150 is hauling is vital for ensuring it can perform at peak efficiency. The available Onboard Scales will display your truck’s approximate payload weight on the center touch screen, in the FordPass™ app, or via the truck’s smart LED taillights. As the truck is loaded, the taillamps will illuminate with LED bars to indicate how close it is to its max payload.
Loading trailers just got easier thanks to the class-exclusive Smart Hitch. This tool measures the tongue weight of the trailer you’re connecting to your 2021 Ford F-150 so you can distribute the weight correctly and tow safer. Similar to the Onboard Scales, this tech connects through the touch screen, FordPass™, or the smart LED taillamps.
Continuous controlled damping
When you’ve got a heavy payload in the bed or a trailer behind you, your F-150 is bound to drive a little different. To help enhance handling and the ride of the truck, available continuous controlled damping will use signals from high-resolution sensors to adjust vehicle response through valves in the shocks.
If you’re interested in adding any of these smart features to your F-150 or if you’ve got any questions about any of the tech on your truck, contact our knowledgeable team right here in La Grange, Texas.
